Dear Reader, If you are new here, welcome! Whether you found me through my books, website, social media, or a recommendation from another writer, I am so glad you have joined us. And if you have walked with me for a while, thank you for being here on this Christian journey with me. I trust God will meet you in these words! The moment a new baby arrives, the whole family gathers in close to study that new tiny face. Aunt Margie sees mama's eyes. Grandma Clara sees daddy's nose. Oh, and whose hands are those? Everyone leans over the cradle to find the family resemblance. It is the same with the children of God. People around us are looking for the image of God in each one of us, and the image is there, waiting to be seen. What Is The Image?God created man in His own image (Gen 1:26 & 27). We all wonder about our purpose and call. We wonder if we are doing the right things--or enough of the right things! We wonder if we've got it right, or if we've missed our chance. Let me reassure you with this encouraging revelation today: You are enough! You were created in the image of your Creator Father. You Are The Image of GodOur Creator Himself places great value on each life. He knows you by name (Isa 45:3), and every hair of your head is numbered (Matt 10:30). You carry His likeness, and that likeness sets you apart from the rest of creation. Like the family gathered around that cradle, the world looks for our Father's features in us. Then God revealed His image perfectly in the second Adam, Jesus Christ, who is "the express image of his person" (Heb 1:3 KJV). So why would a perfect God, complete and in need of nothing, fashion people who resemble Him? The answer brings us to our primary purpose. Our Primary PurposeCenturies ago, Bible scholars summed up the purpose of humanity this way, "Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever." The prophet Isaiah agrees, for he tells us we were made for God's glory (Isa 43:7). Pause and consider this truth. God created you for friendship, and He chose you for joy! What He desires most is for you to love Him in return. Jesus called this the greatest commandment of all (Matt 22:37–38). So if you wonder about your main purpose in life, wonder no more. You are called into sweet fellowship with our God! And to love Him is to enjoy Him. David writes, "In Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever" (Ps 16:11). Think of Eden in the cool of the day, when the Lord walked among the trees and Adam and Eve walked with Him unafraid. That garden fellowship was humanity's first purpose, and His love restores us to it. In His presence He heals our deepest hurts and provides all we need. From this one purpose, every other call and assignment in your life flows like a river from its spring. Truth For TodayI have learned to rely on this truth in my own life. There have been times when I felt so pressured and overwhelmed with life that I would stop and say to myself, "All I have to do is love God and enjoy His presence." Each time, His sweet presence surrounded me and gave me strength to face the next thing. This little change in thinking freed me from so much pressure! Dear friend, that same strength is waiting for you. You were made in His image so that you could know Him, love Him, and enjoy His love forever. Something beautiful happens as we spend time with Him. Paul writes, "...beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory" (2 Cor 3:18). The longer we gaze on our Lord, the more His features show in us. Like relatives leaning over a cradle, the people around us begin to notice the family resemblance. They see His love, His joy, His peace. Action Steps: A Moment With HimBefore you move on to the next task of your day, take five minutes with the Lord. Set your to-do list aside and sit with Him. Speak the words that have carried me through overwhelming times: "All I have to do is love God and enjoy His presence." Then rest in His love and notice the peace or warmth He brings. Whenever life presses in this week, stop and say those words again. My Prayer for YouFather, I thank You for each dear one who reads these words. Unveil to them the wonder of bearing Your image. Where shame or rejection has told them they have no worth, speak Your truth over them, for You know them by name. Awaken a fresh joy in Your presence, and transform them from glory to glory until others see Your likeness shining through their lives. In Jesus' name, amen. With love in Christ, P.S. Hello Reader, Have you ever had God answer you and not realized it was Him? When God Speaks, Do We Recognize It? Samuel was a young boy the first time he heard God speak. He heard the voice clearly enough to respond. But he ran to the wrong person. Three times God spoke, and three times Samuel went to Eli, certain the old priest had called him. Samuel as a boy could hear, yet he did not recognize the Speaker. Even as a boy, Samuel loved God. He served in the temple and slept near the ark of...

Hello Reader, Thanks for reading. Here is a new inspirational teaching for June! She Knew She Was Supposed To Walk My niece has a set of twins who are at that age where their whole little world shifts by the day. They pull up on furniture and test their legs against gravity. One of them stands at the coffee table for a moment, wobbles with pride, and sits right back down again. Her sister, from the floor pushed up onto her hands. With her hips in the air and legs tucked underneath her she...
